Lane Beatty, Director of Trellis Counseling Center, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Georgia and Tennessee and has been practicing since 2007. Originally from Thomasville, GA, Lane attended the University of Georgia, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Child and Family Development. Lane then earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont University in Atlanta, GA. She practiced at an addiction treatment facility followed by seeing clients at Covenant Counseling Center in Birmingham, AL for 8 years prior to moving to Nashville, her husband’s home town. After living in Nashville for 6 years, Lane and her family decided to move back home to Thomasville for a small town, simpler living. She continues to see clients in Tennessee.
Although Lane has experience working with clients of various issues, her main passion is marriages, working with couples and families. Lane utilizes a systemic and integrative approach in working with clients, and she feels passionate and honored to meet each client where they are in their journey. Her specialties include marriage issues, family issues, substance abuse and addiction issues, healthy sexuality, military families, premarital counseling as a Certified PREPARE/ENRICH assessor/counselor, codependency, spirituality, infidelity, parenting, relationships, divorce and step-families.
Lane is married to Blanding with 3 children, and they are happy to call Thomasville and Nashville home.
Lane is available to provide Psychoeducation through groups and teaching in Thomasville.

Beth Filston is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in the state of Georgia. Beth completed her undergraduate studies in Biology with a Bachelor of Science degree from Furman University. She earned her Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Beth trained in Thomasville at Georgia Pines working with adults and at Vashti working with elementary and high school students.
Beth enjoys helping her clients untangle their complicated emotional struggles so that they can live with greater contentment and confidence. Beth works with adults, elementary school children and high school teens who have ADHD, grief, anxiety, and anger management issues. She uses evidence-based treatments in her practice, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
